The scene opens on a crowded market place. It focuses in on two girls wandering throughout.

Sara I cant! I wont. Brad is just too nice I could never do this to him.

Lisa He dumped you

Sara So? I can't believe it! You used to like him! You are a little bitch! You don't know anything about love do you?

Lisa I suppose not. But I'll find someone. You can bet on it.

Sara Girl! With that big ass?

Lisa Your the one with the big butt.

The Credits Roll. Use pictures of models throughout. It gives a nice touch.

Mom Hi how was your...

Sara Why do I have to have such a horrible life.

Mom Excuse Me?

Sara runs upstairs to her room. Show the camera on her mother and hear the door slam. move camera to show Sara lying on her bed in her room. Have posters of cute guys covering her walls. She sings to a song very quietly and off key.

Sara Mmm Bop MMM mmm bop yeah yeah yeah

The phone in her room rings. She reaches over and turns off her stereo. She picks up the phone.

Sara Hello?

Brad Hello. Sara? Uh, How are you.

Sara How dare you! How do you think I am! You dumped me in front of half the school!

Brad You should be mad. I would be mad too. If I only knew...................

Sara Only knew! Do you have any idea what..... wha...

She can hear a girl's voice giggling in the background.

Sara Brad, who is that?

Brad My sister.

Sara Then put her on the phone. It's not her is it? You were cheating on me weren't you. Who is it? Huh?

Brad Listen. I felt bad about..

Sara You jerk! You called me up with some second rate slut in your house?

Brad You don't even know her!

Sara Julie. As is I just broke up with Julio, our quarterback Julie.

Sara can't take it anymore. She slams the phone down and rips the cord out of the wall. She puts her head down on her pillow and cries.

The next day at school. Sara is standing in front of her locker. He door is open. Her best friend Max and her other best friend Lisa are standing with her.

Max Julie? He's going with Julie?

Lisa Oh man here they come.

Max Look at them. They aren't even noticing anybody else. They're caught in their own little world. How disgusting.

Brad and Julie walk up to Sara. Julie does a lot of flirting with Max.

Julie So... Max.. How's you're little play doing. I heard nobody will try out,

Max Yeah, they saw your face and ran.

Brad Yeah what?

Sara slaps Brad. Hard. He grabs his face. Just then Principal Walters walks up and asks the five of them to go to his office.

Walters Now!

Camera moves in on the five in the office. Max sits on the floor. Sara has her head on his shoulder. Lisa sits next to Sara on the other side giving her a back rub. Across the room Julie and Brad make out. Principal Walters is not in the room at the moment.

Max Listen Dickhead. Do you have to do that?

Brad Shut up before I shove my foot so far up your ass I'd be wearing you for a shoe.

Julie Kiss me baby.

Just then Principal Walters walks in. Julie and Brad are still making out and don't know that he has walked in.

Max Ah Mr Walters. See you're enjoying the show!

Brad Principal Walters! I uh.

Walters I just have to talk to Sara about something. Besides I am now quite aware that Julie isn't wearing any underwear. Oh and what's this on my desk. Panties?

Julie Those are mine!

Walters gives them back she puts them on and sits down. Brad tries to kiss her but she pushes him away. Sara grins in delight.

Lisa leaves the room.

Max Leaves the room

Walters Now Leave.

Sara Leaves. The Camera follows. Max And Lisa Are Waiting outside. Max is drinking from the water fountain.

Sara I'm gonna give Julie what she deserves.

Max Come on Sara. Didn't being in there teach you a lesson? I mean, Who Cares, right?

Lisa Besides, I think she already got it.

The door gradually opens from the principal's office. Julie steps out and wipes her mouth at Max, smiling, and struts off.

Max Julie and.... no... no way.

He peeks in and sees his dad signing a detention form.

Max That bitch! She tried to trick me. She's going down.

Sara That Is just sick!

Lisa She needs to get what's coming to her.

Just then another kid, Steve, walks up. He is wearing a basketball jersey. He also is Max's other best friend, And Lisa's boyfriend.

Steve Hey guys! I heard what happened. Any detentions?

Max Julie and Brad.

Steve Man! So you guys....

Max Aren't in trouble.

Sara I have a great idea to get back at Brad. You guys in?

Max Of Course

Lisa Does it involve that tramp?

The scene changes. Sara and Max walk into a McDonalds.

Counterguy Welcome to McDonalds, Home Of The Big Mac, May I Take Your Order.

Max A Number 4 with a sprite, oh and she'll have a mr. pibb.

Sara Thanks.

Sara (turning to max, privately) How did you know?

Sara Well thanks (Counterguy takes the money from Max and hands over the food)

Sara and Max sit down and eat before the scene changes to Lisa's house.

Lisa So. Sara has it out for you.

Julie She has no idea you and I are friends.

Lisa Not a clue.

Julie Whats her plan.

Lisa I dont know much. I just know it's about prom.

Julie Thanks.

Lisa Yeah. So I'll check you out later?

Julie Meet you after school. On the field. During practice. We have something planned

The camera switches to max's bedroom. Steve and Max are studying.

Steve So. The square root of 6 is ?

Max There isn't one. Is there?

Steve Dunno. So why don't you ask Sara to the prom.

Max I think she's still attached to some old baggage.

Steve. I'm gonna ask Lisa.

Max She wont go.

Steve Maybe not, but it's worth a shot. Hey you gonna be on the field tommorrow? I heard the cheerleaders are gonna wear tights.

Max Sure. Besides Sara has track with Lisa. I'll pretend I'm going to watch them.

Steve Don't go if the football team is practicing too. Brad probably has the whole team against you

Tommorrow at school during a science class. Max and Brad are the only familiar faces

Dickenson So. After detaching the epiglottis from the sternum we find....

Steve Look at the cheerleaders. Man oh man. Especially....

Max looks over and sees the football team running in all directions. On the track and off.

Max Look at the goons. Running like idiots. There's Brad. The biggest goon of all.

Max sees two big guys running toward Sara.

Max leaps out of the bleachers. But too late. Sara is knocked down by the two of them.

Sara Watch it. Owwww.

Brad runs up to Sara and looks at Max.

Brad Oh my gosh. Are you OK. I can't believe those guys. Man I really hope they didn't hurt you.

Sara Not really.

Sara smiles at Brad. Then Brad picks Sara off her feet and carries her inside the school. Max has a really mad look on his face.

Inside The School. In A Hallway.

Brad Gee. I can't believe they did that to you.

Sara Oh. It's.... OK.

Brad No. Really. Let me, uh, go get the nurse.

Sara Thanks Brad.

Brad Don't mention it. Listen. I just wanted to know if you'd like to go to prom. With Me.

Brad walks off to get the nurse.

Sara Why the sudden crawling back?

Max runs In

Max Sara. Oh My God. Are You OK. Is there anything I can get you?

Brad comes back with the nurse and is astonished to find Max rubbing her foot.

Max moves up next to Sara and infuriates Brad.

Brad Hey Sara. Hey Max. Max, while you're here I just wanted to thank you so much for consulting with our teacher after the frog incident.

Max What are you talking about.

Brad Oh. Well, he told me that you said you did it all on your own and he raised my grade to an A. He said that you were OK with being suspended for ruining a lab expiriment.

Sara What's he talking about, Max?

Max He's just flapping his Jaws that's all.

Brad No. I'm serious. So, nurse, how is Sara doing? I'm hoping her foot isn't all that messed up.

Max Why?

Brad Because I want her to dance with me at prom.

Nurse. Oh. I think she just sprained her ankle. Good thing you came and got me so quick. I may not have been able to spot the problems as easily.

Brad Wow, only a sprained ankle.

Sara Thanks Nurse Thatcher.

Nurse Don't mention it. Just doing my job. By the way, you two make a cute couple. You should do well at prom. Maybe even be King and Queen.

Brad smiles and gets down on one knee.

Sara starts crying.

Brad locks lips with Sara. Max runs off.

Sara. Oh no.

Brad What?

Sara I think Max wanted to take me to prom. I said we could hang out together. Maybe he took it the wrong way.

Nurse I have to get back to my paperwork. Call on me if you have any problems.

Sara Thanks. I'd better go after him.

Brad No. You have a sprained ankle. I'll go after him.

Max stands at a drinking fountain outside. Lisa is sitting by a tree nearby. She can hear the upcoming conversation. Brad runs up to Max.

Max You made your point. Stop ruining her life!

Brad But I'll enjoy seeing the look on her face when we are crowned King and Queen and I break up with her onstage. Then I give my class ring, my letterman's jacket and her crown to Julie. It will be glorious.

Max She'll see right through you.

Brad She won't want to. I'll go all out. Rent her a limo even. And then I'll dump her.

Max I trust she's smarter than that. Even if she's not, I'll tell her every word of what you just said.

Brad She loves me too much. She wouldn't believe it.

Max Goodbye Brad. This is where I be the bigger man and walk away.

Max walks off. Lisa gets up and follows. Brad turns around and walks away.

Lisa Max! I heard every word he just said.

Max So.

Lisa Surely she'll beleive both of us.

Lisa We'll Think Of Something.

Lisa walks on ahead of Max and gets in her car. Steve pulls up.

Steve Max. Get in the car.

Max enters Steve's car.

Steve My girlfriend is a traitor.

Steve Her and Julie are best friends.

Steve Julie told me the truth about us so I wouldn't ask her to prom. Lisa has been acting all along.

Steve points to Lisa and Julie talking to each other and laughing.

Steve and Max pull away in Steve's car.
Later On: Three days before prom. Sara and Max are walking through a mall.

Max Are you sure you're going to go?

Max Maybe. Probably not though.

Sara Isn't Steve going with Lisa?

Max No. Lisa is going to a different high school's prom. Thats where her new boyfriend is going.

Sara They broke up?

Max No. Not verbally. They just haven't spoken in weeks. Ever since Steve won MVP for the basketball team.

Sara Why would they break up over that?

Max Dunno. But that's the last time they spoke. She said " Congratulations " and he nodded.

Sara Oh.

Max Look over there. Isn't that Julio?

Sara What's he doing in Victoria's Secret?

Max And Why is he with Brian?

Sara Lets Go Say Hi.

Sara and Max go in to say hi to Brian and Julio.

The scene changes to the next day where Max, Sara, Lisa, and Steve are sitting around a table talking.

Max So. Lisa. The other day, I was wondering. What did Julie say to you?

Lisa Nothing. I've tried to block her out.

Sara Are you sure? I saw you had her phone number.

Lisa No. I don't.

Sara Yes. You Do. It's written right there.

Lisa Oh.

Steve So....

Lisa So I make prank calls. Big Deal.

Lisa I forgot.

Steve Lisa's on the other side. She's Julie's best friend.

Steve This picture was taken two weeks ago. That's Lisa and Julie at Geena's

All of a sudden a boy walks up. Much younger.

Back in the boys restroom a few minutes later. Tim, Steve and Max are rejoicing. Until Brad walks in.

Brad officially enters the viewing area of the room.

Steve steps between Brad and Max.

Steve picks himself back up and charges at Brad,

Steve swings and Brad grabs his fist.

Brad twists Steve's hand around.

Max has had enough. He gets up and leaps on Brad's side pulling his hair.

Steve swings and punches Brad in the stomach. Brad groans. Then Max pulls Brad to the ground.

Steve Don't mess with us.

Max No. You can mess with me. You can mess with Steve. You can even mess with Tim. But if you hurt Sara on prom night..... You will never be able to have children.

Max moves his foot on top of Brad's crotch.

Max Get it.

Tim Got it.

Steve Good. I might have had to really hurt you.

Max looks for the CD, trying to move things along.

Max leaps forward and starts dancing like a backstreet boy.

Steve and Tim crack up.

Tim and Steve I want It that way!

The three of them crack up as Annie begins to. The song keeps playing in the background. fade out. The day before prom. Max is having a heart-to-heart moment with Sara.

Sara I dont know! I mean Brad was just so, aaah, the other day. I can't believe he would flirt with another girl like that. Who does he think he is!

Max You've got to remember that a leopard never sheds it's spots.... or something like that.

Sara Who are you going to prom with.
