After being invited to a class reunion at the closed Wayside High School, 7 people find themselves in the strangest situation. We see Damion James (Anderson) sitting at his desk talking to a new rapper about his record deal.

DAMION
You see Jay Jizzy. I cant sign you.

JAY
Why cuz?

DAMION
You aint got any talent. You suck. Id rather record a bunch of dogs howlin.

JAY
Im just rappin with my bros. They gonna hook me up with the records yo.


DAMION
No one in their right mind is gonna buy a record titled Jizzy Style.

JAY
We can redo it, yo. Come on cuz hook a brotha up.

DAMION
How can I put this? Youre being let go. There isnt a place for you in the future. The company is expanding and you arent. Terminated. Fired. Buh-Bye. See ya. Get the FUCK out of my suede chair and leave. NOW!

JAY
Right bro. I see how it is.

DAMION
Thank God.

Jay gets up and leaves. Damions secretary comes in.

SECRETARY
This just came in.

DAMION
Mail? Who the fuck sends mail anymore?

SECRETARY
Weird.

The secretary hands Damion the letter and leaves the room. Damion opens it and reads it aloud.

DAMION
Dear Damion James. Your high school class is having a reunion at Wayside High. Please attend. The date is Halloween. Itll be a blast. Halloween? A reunion on Halloween? What a bunch of freaks. I aint attending no reunion on Halloween. I got better things to do.

Damion hears gunfire from his waiting room.

DAMION
Drive By!

Damion grabs his phone and dials 911.

DAMION
911. This is Damion James at Lock-em-Up Records. I just heard gunfire from my waiting area. I need cops, not any cracker cops, black cops.

Damion hangs up the phone and his door opens. It is Jay.

JAY
Now will you sign me? I gots a criminal record.

DAMION
Shit.

JAY
I want to get the word out to my brothas yo.

DAMION
Go away.

JAY
Man. You aint feelin me dawg.

Jay raises his gun and aims it at Damion.

DAMION
I gotta get out of this biz.

CUT TO
INT: MARK JOHNSONS APARTMENT
We see Mark Johnson (Hawke) and his wife arguing.

WIFE
You fucking slept with her. What else am I supposed to do?

MARK
Listen to me. I didnt sleep with her. Shes lying.

WIFE
Why would my best friend lie to me?

MARK
I dont know!

WIFE
Youre sick. Leave me alone!

MARK
Im sorry. I dont know what to say. I didnt do anything.

WIFE
Were so obviously divorced.

Marks wife walks out and slams the door behind her.

MARK
Carrie! Come on!
(pause)
Shit.

He keeps looking at the door. Suddenly a letter is slid underneath. Mark moves quickly to the door and opens it. The hallway is empty.

MARK
Carrie?
(pause)
Honey?

He picks the letter up off the floor.

MARK
What is this?

Mark opens it.

MARK
A reunion? I dont have anything better to do.

CUT TO:
EXT: ALLEY
A man is running from Shannon Hill (Fox). She is obviously a police officer.

SHANNON
Freeze!

MAN
Fuck you.

SHANNON
I said freeze!

Shannon stops and shoots at the man.

SHANNON
Stop!

The man turns around and fires at Shannon. Shannon also fires back. Shannon is hit in the shoulder and the man is shot in the head. The man dies. Shannon grabs her shoulder.

SHANNON
Fuck.

Shannons partner TJ Stephens (Dorff) runs up behind her.

SHANNON
Well. I got him.

TJ
Congratulations.

SHANNON
Wanna drive me to the hospital?

TJ
Yeah. Lets go. Forensics can take it from here.

Other cops cars with their sirens blaring pull up. TJ escorts Shannon back to the car. There is a note taped to the side. Shannon grabs it and reads it.

SHANNON
Hmmm.

TJ
What?

SHANNON
Wanna be my date to a class reunion?

TJ
Sure.

SHANNON
Im sure Ill get some R&R time after this.

TJ puts his arm around Shannon.

SHANNON
Watch it. Shoulder.

TJ
Youre strong as an Ox. Nothing could stop you.

SHANNON
Right.

CUT TO:
EXT: WAYSIDE HIGH PARKING LOT.
The building looks quite abandoned. We see Mark and Ellie Howard (Leigh) standing outside the school.

MARK
I dont remember you.

ELLIE
Funny. Same here.

MARK
Wheres everyone else?

ELLIE
Are we early?

A cop car pulls up.

MARK
Shit. I knew it.

Ellie and Mark put their hands up in the air. Shannon and TJ step out of the car.

SHANNON
Put your hands down.

MARK
Huh?

SHANNON
Were here for the reunion.

MARK
Oh.

TJ
You guys all went to school together?

SHANNON
I guess. Dont remember either of you, but (pause) whatever.

Mark extends his hand.

MARK
Im Mark Johnson.

SHANNON
Shannon Hill. This is my partner TJ Stephens.

ELLIE
Im Ellie Howard. Im a reporter for the Today show on NBC.

SHANNON
Wow.

ELLIE
Yeah. I just started for them. Gotta come back for the reunion and brag.

We hear additional footsteps. The camera pans to see Duncan Christopher (Renfro) walking up the road. A car speeds past him and 180s itself into the parking lot.

SHANNON
If I was on duty Id arrest his ass.

Damion steps out of the car.

DAMION
Whud up!

SHANNON
Hi. Im a police officer. You drive like that again and Ill kick your ass.

DAMION
And what a fine police officer you are.

TJ
Watch it.

DUNCAN
What is this? You guys didnt graduate with me?

MARK
Obviously.

We hear voices coming from the school.

ELLIE
Whoa.

TJ
What was that?

The front door to the school opens to reveal Jennifer Jo Allen (Bello)

JENNIFER
Thank god. I thought I was the only one here. Come in.

It starts to rain outside so everyone moves inside.

DUNCAN
I dont remember hearing anything about rain.

FADE TO
INT: GYM

MARK
OK. What the hell is going on?

JENNIFER
What do you mean?

DUNCAN
OK. What reunion is this?

SHANNON
Not yours.

DUNCAN
I got a letter through the mail. How old are you guys?

DAMION

Yeah. Im 20. Theres no way we graduated in the same year.

JENNIFER
(to Ellie)

You were on the Basketball team, right?

SHANNON
Yeah.

ELLIE
You graduated the year before I did.

MARK
What the fuck is going on?

We hear numerous clicking sounds. Like locks flipping.

Mark, Duncan, and TJ run out of the room
INT: HALLWAY

Mark reaches the door to the outside first. He tries to push it open and it doesnt budge.

DUNCAN
No. Shit.

TJ
This is like a bad horror movie or something.

INT: GYM.
Mark, Duncan, and TJ come back in the room.

MARK
Doors are locked. Something else is in here.

TJ
Personally, I dont want to wait around to find out. I say we try to find a way out.

DAMION
Say no more.

Damion whips out his cell phone.

DAMION
It wont turn on!

SHANNON
You didnt charge it?

ELLIE
Ill try mine.

Ellie pulls out her cell phone.

ELLIE
Mine wont turn on either.

MARK
What the hell is going on?

TJ
(to Mark)
Lets try to find a way out shall we?

JENNIFER
I was walking around for awhile before you guys got here. Maybe I could help?

TJ
Whatever. I just want to get the heck out of here.

TJ, Mark, and Jennifer leave the room.

DAMION
See those windows up there?

SHANNON
Yeah.

DAMION.
Fire a bullet at one of them.

SHANNON
What?

DUNCAN
Hes got a good idea.

DAMION
Yeah. See?

DUNCAN
That way. If the house is possessed, like I think it is, then the bullet will bounce off the window, ricochet around the room and kill one of us.

DAMION
You need to see a therapist. (sounds it out) THERAPIST.

Shannon pulls her gun out and points at the window.

SHANNON
Everybody get ready to hit the deck.

Shannon fires at the window. The bullet ricochets off of the glass and flies past Damions head.

DAMION
OK. Note to self- listen to kid more often.

DUNCAN
Well. I was half right. No one got killed.

SHANNON
Wheres that chick at?

CUT TO
INT: BATHROOM
Ellie is washing her hands.

ELLIE
If this place is so haunted, why are the lights still on?

The lights flicker in the bathroom.

ELLIE
Uh.

Ellie is picked up off the ground by a mysterious force. She is flung into the mirror, breaking the glass into many different pieces.

ELLIE
Shit. Ow.

Ellie gets up and backs up against the wall.

The pieces of glass that had fallen to the ground levitate off the ground and aim at Ellie.

ELLIE
No. Come on.

CUT TO: CAFETERIA
Mark, Jennifer, and TJ have just flipped a light switch when they hear Ellies scream.

MARK
Lets work quicker.

TJ
I didnt even go to school here.

MARK
Do you have more than one gun?

TJ
Yeah.

He bends down and pulls a spare gun out of his bottom pant leg.

TJ
Here.

He hands the gun to Mark

MARK
Thanks.

JENNIFER
The cafeteria was central. I dont know why thered be a way out from here.

MARK
We have to check every room.

TJ
I agree.

Mark and TJ move further into the room, Jennifer stays closer to the door. They hear a moaning sound.

MARK
What the hell was that?

TJ
Dunno.

They hear it again.

MARK
It came from there.

Mark points toward a walk in freezer.

TJ
Cover me.

TJ moves to the door and opens it.

TJ
Oh my god.

The freezer is full of dead, frozen bodies hanging from the ceiling on meathooks. Sitting right in front of the door is the the mutilated body of Ellie with about 50 shards of glass protruding from her body.

TJ
1 down. Six more to go.

Ellies hand suddenly reaches out and grabs TJ by the neck.

TJ
Shit.

Ellie pulls TJ off the ground.

Mark fires the gun at Ellie. She drops TJ.

TJ
Thanks man.

TJ pushes the door to the freezer shut.

MARK
No problem. Lets get the heck out of here.

TJ and Mark walk back toward Jennifer. The freezer door busts open and the dead bodies start coming out.

TJ
Start shooting them.

Mark and TJ fire the gun at the dead bodies. They keep coming in hoardes though overpowering their bullets.

TJ
Thats a lot of dead bodies.

JENNIFER
Theyre getting closer.

Indeed they are. Mark runs out of ammo.

MARK
Im out.

TJ
You two get out of here. Ive got another clip left.

MARK
Are you sure.

TJ
Ill be fine.
(Well aware of the fact that he wont)
Just go.

TJ runs out of ammo and reloads a new clip.

TJ
Go.

Mark and Jennifer leave the room.

TJ
Bring it you fuckers.

There are still about 15 bodies standing in the room. TJ shoots them all down.

TJ
Thank God. I thought I was going to die.

TJ starts to head out of the room. The camera shows behind him that all the bodies are getting back up. TJ leaves the room and stands in
INT: HALLWAY

TJ
Hey guys. Wait up.

Mark and Jennifer turn around.

TJ
Im still alive.

A dead body comes out of the Cafeteria and chops TJs head off. The rest of his body falls to the ground.

MARK
Run.

Mark and Jennifer run back down the hallway.

One of the dead bodies picks up TJs gun and fires it at Mark and Jennifer hitting Jennifer in the leg. She falls down.

MARK
Come on.

JENNIFER
Go. Ill just slow you down.

Mark tries to pick Jennifer up.

JENNIFER
Go.

Mark picks her up and carries her into a classroom.

He puts her on the floor and starts pushing things up against the door to barricade it.

MARK
Youd think we could be a little more original than this Night of the Living Dead shit.

Jennifer looks at Mark.

JENNIFER
Thanks.

MARK
I wasnt going to leave you.

Mark sits down next to Jennifer in the middle of the floor.

JENNIFER
Well probably all die anyway.

MARK
No we wont.

Jennifer kisses Mark.

MARK
Whoa.

They pause for a second before Mark kisses Jennifer back. He takes off her shirt and the two fall back on the floor. They kiss again. They are just about to have sex when they hear pounding on a wall. They look at the right wall with the chalkboard on it.

MARK
What is that?

It stops.

JENNIFER
Maybe the other guys are having the same thought.

MARK
Were gonna die and all you want to do is have sex?

Jennifer takes off her bra and grabs Marks hand and puts it to her breast.

MARK
This is too weird.

Jennifer rolls Mark over to where he is on his back. She gets on top of him.

JENNIFER
Jesus Mark. Youd think I was some kind of corpse or something.

Hard pause.

MARK
What?

Jennifers eyes turn solid white.

JENNIFER
Whats the worst that could happen?

Mark freaks out and tries to kick Jennifer off of him.

MARK
Shit. Get off.

Jennifer has an evil grin.

JENNIFER
Join me Mark. For dinner.

Jennifer opens her mouth and attempts to bite into Mark but Mark reaches behind him and grabs the gun and whacks Jennifer over the head with it. She falls off of him.

Mark stands up and kicks Jennifer in the head. She falls down completely.

Mark puts his foot on top of her neck and puts all of his weight down on it. We hear a cracking sound and Jennifer lies there motionless.

MARK
Bitch.

CUT TO: GYM
Mark runs in.

MARK
Were fucked.

He looks around and doesnt see anyone.

MARK
Guys?
(pause)
Shit.

CUT TO: HALLWAY
Mark is running through the hallway. He runs into
INT: AUDITORIUM

Mark jogs into the room and up some stairs onto the stage.

He stands there looking at an empty audience. All of a sudden, Damion comes out of the curtain behind him.

DAMION
Boo!

Mark is startled and turns around.

MARK
Jesus. Damion, you scared the crap out of me.

DAMION
That chick died.

MARK
Ellie?

Shannon comes out from behind the curtain.

SHANNON
Yeah. Wheres TJ?

MARK
Which half?

Shannon expresses some remorse.

SHANNON
Was it bad?

MARK
There were dead bodies in a freezer in the cafeteria. We saw Ellies body hanging on a meathook. We shot them, they came back. So now we have to deal with a bunch of zombies trying to kill us in a locked school.

Duncan comes out behind the curtain.

DUNCAN
I always hated school

MARK
So this is it?

DAMION
What happened to that Jennifer.

MARK
She was already with them. She almost killed me.

DUNCAN
How do we know we can trust you?

MARK
Huh?

DUNCAN
How do we know you didnt kill them and come back for us.

MARK
Because thats insane.

DAMION
Duncan, man. Hes a good guy.

DUNCAN
You hope so.

MARK
Whats your problem.

DUNCAN
Nothing. (pause) I found some weapons and Im debating whether or not to give you one.



SHANNON
Maybe this will clear some things up.
(to Mark)
Did TJ send me his love before he died?

MARK
No.

DUNCAN
How (pause) What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

SHANNON
TJ was gay. If he had said yes, wed know he was lying.

DAMION
Damn! A gay cop?

SHANNON
Thats right chunky. Now its time for someone to say Lets get the fuck out of here.

Duncan reaches behind the curtain and grabs three swords. He tosses one to Mark, hands one to Damion and keeps one for himself. Shannon pulls out her gun.

DUNCAN
Lets roll.

CUT TO:
INT: HALLWAY

MONTAGE
The following is played to Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle) by Limp Bizkit

A- They are walking slow (slow motion) down the hallway.
B- We see the zombies come out of a room.
C- The camera zooms on Damions face
D- The camera zooms on Shannons face
E- The camera zooms on Marks face
F- The camera zooms on Duncans face.
G- Shannon charges a zombie. She roundhouses it up against a wall, pulls her gun out and shoots its head off. It falls to the floor.
H- Mark swings his sword and chops a zombies head off. He turns and slices another one in half.
I- Duncan stares at a zombie. The camera does a 360 around his body.
J- Duncan runs up the side of a wall and comes off right behind the zombie and kicks it in the head. It falls to the ground and he stabs it with his sword.
K- Damion is cornered by three zombies
L- Shannon shoots the three in the head. Duncan is standing on the other side and beheads all 3.
M- Mark trips a zombie and beheads it.
N- The camera zooms out and shows Duncan, Damion, Shannon, and Mark standing in a hallway full of dead bodies.
O- A body with a head pops up.
P- Duncan takes a knee and throws his sword at the zombie.
Q- We see from a point of view of the sword the zombies head get cut off.
R- The camera zooms back to Duncans face as he smiles.

END MONTAGE

MARK
You are a bad ass.

CUT TO:
INT: CAFETERIA
Mark, Duncan, Shannon, and Damion walk in.

MARK
You sure this is a good idea?

DUNCAN
My friends and I found a roof access from this room.

The door behind them that led to the hallway slams shut.

SHANNON
Thats not good.

DAMION
Wheres that roof access?

Suddenly a chunk of the ceiling falls down and crushes Damion. Shannon screams.

MARK
We found the roof.

DUNCAN
Take cover.

Duncan and Shannon slide under the same table. Mark runs into
INT: FREEZER ROOM

MARK
What the hell did I do that for?

The door slams shut.

MARK
Now that was really stupid of me.

CUT TO:
INT: CAFETERIA

SHANNON
Hell die in there.

DUNCAN
Hes as good as dead.

A chunk of the ceiling falls and crushes the table next to them.


DUNCAN
On second thought.

Duncan and Shannon scramble out from under the table. Chunks are still falling. They run to the freezer door and open it. Mark runs out.

MARK
Yes! I didnt die!

SHANNON
Not today.

DUNCAN
(laughing)
Well leave that for the sequel.

They take a moment to laugh.

MARK
I think I know a way out.

MONTAGE BEGINS
The following is played to Ride Wit Me by Nelly.

A- Mark takes his sword and chops the door leading to the hallway open.
B- INT: HALLWAY- Mark, Shannon and Duncan running down the hallway.
C- Tiles falling from the ceiling
D- They have almost reached the front door when that part of the hallway collapses. They turn around and the part behind them collapses.
E- The camera does a 360 around the 3.
F- Duncan kicks in a classroom door.
G- They see a vent.
H- CUT TO: INT: VENT It is pitch black. A little light coming from another classroom allows us to see some rats.
I- Shannon shakes her head No
J- CUT TO: Hallway. The three are surveying the damage.
K- Mark kicks open another classroom door.
L- INT: CLASSROOM- They see a boarded up window.
M- Duncan and Mark raise their swords in a position ready to chop through the boards.
N- The swords are lifted out of their hands.
O- Duncan and Mark turn around and see their swords floating in the air.
P- The swords fly out of the room.
Q- Duncan, Mark, and Shannon try to peel the boards off, to no avail.

END MONTAGE

DUNCAN
This is pointless.

MARK
No its not. Theres one thing that can set us free if we are willing to take the risk.

SHANNON
Hell. Id do anything right about now.

MARK
We could die.

A chunk of the ceiling falls and blocks the doorway. They cant get out.

DUNCAN
Do it. I dont care what it is.

Mark pushes the desks together into a corner. He pulls a lighter out of his pocket.

DUNCAN
Fire. How original.

SHANNON
That wont light the desks on fire.

Mark grabs Shannons gun and aims for a pipe.

MARK
No. But this will.

He shoots a hole in the pipe, lights his lighter, throws it at the pipe and that side of the room catches on fire.

DUNCAN
Natural gas.

MARK
Now all we have to do is pray that these windows are broken and thats why they are boarded up.

SHANNON
Or else?

MARK
Were dead.

The fire spreads to the windows. The three are backed into a corner.

MARK
Moment of truth.

The fire burns the boards away revealing open windows. Now all that stands between them and safety is the fire.

MARK
Sure. Were gonna get singed, but its worth the risk.

DUNCAN
See ya on the outside.

Duncan runs and jumps through the window.


SHANNON
You next.

MARK
No you.

SHANNON
It was your idea.

MARK
Fine. Whatever.

Mark runs and jumps through the window.

EXT: THE PARKING LOT
Mark and Duncan are brushing themselves off. Shannon is preparing to jump through the window when the school collapses.

MARK
Shannon!

DUNCAN
Shit. We were seconds away from getting killed.

The fire is extinguished by the debris dropping.

MARK
Do we even know why this happened?

DUNCAN
Beats the hell out of me.

SHANNON
Help me! Im still alive!

Mark and Duncan run to the pile of rubble.

SHANNON
Right here.

They pull a chunk of rock back to reveal Shannon lying on the floor.

SHANNON
Thanks.

MARK
That was unexpected.

Duncan takes Shannons hand and pulls her out.

SHANNON
Thanks.


DUNCAN
Now lets get as far away from here as we can.

MARK
I second that.

The three walk away from old Wayside High never knowing why they were submitted to that kind of torture.

CUT TO: HALLWAY
Brad is readying to swing his sword at an extra. He lifts it up in the air and it flies out of his hands.

BRAD
Sorry!

ETHAN (O.S.)
Almost. Came really close.

CUT TO:
EXT: ALLEY
Extra 2 is running from Vivica.

VIVICA
Freeze!

EXTRA 2
Fuck you.

VIVICA
I said freeze!

Vivica stops and attempts to shoot at extra 2. The gun just clicks.

VIVICA
Bang!

Extra 2 stops and starts laughing

MAN (O.S.)
