The Pitch:

After being diagnosed with a rapidly growing unoperable tumor, comedian Jeff Haines (Carrey) sets out on his final tour. Jeff believes this is something he must do alone, leaving his wife (Hunt) at home. The audiences are going crazy for Jeff at each performance, and saddened when he reveals he is going to die. Jeff's farewell tour is an interesting one including leading him to his hometown for his final show where he gets to see his parents (Maclaine and Dennehy) who he hasn't seen in over 10 years.
